Varsity Station Village
a transit oriented community
Looking for a developer
With the Varsity Station Village Master Plan finalised, the project team has now begun the search for development industry partners to construct the Village, which is likely to take a decade to build.
The Queensland Government will continue to oversee the roll-out of the Village during its construction lifetime.
The search for a developer is expected to be completed by late 2010.
If you’re a developer interested in taking part in Varsity Station Village, please contact with the project by email (varsitystationvillage@tmr.qld.gov.au) or by contacting the project team on 1800 031 562.
Varsity Lakes station opened
The new Varsity Lakes station opened six months ahead of schedule in December 2009. The rail station will be the focal point of the future Varsity Station Village – giving residents and the surrounding community access to the Citytrain network.
The station was built as part of the Robina to Varsity Lakes Rail Extension, which involved building 4.1km of new track from Robina to the new station at Varsity Lakes. For more information, visit the project website.
